Your request is too vague to be actionable.
“Select arbitrary joints while holding a key” is not a defined operation and is ambiguous from both a feature and UI standpoint.
There is essentially no real-world workflow where rotating non-contiguous joints together makes sense (e.g. the second joint of the little finger and the first joint of the index finger).
Joint-level multi-select like this is not something people actually need.
Ctrl-click style selection was intentionally not implemented, because it would be inefficient in practice.
